Whirr, possibly one of the best bands to follow on Facebook, have just released a new track, ‘Ease’, that they did in collaboration with fellow Shoegaze proponents, Nothing. Whirr and Nothing in fact share the same bassist, Nick Basset.
‘Ease’ is evidence of a more up-tempo glass-half-full outlook that has been rare, if not non-existent, on previous releases. The track, while most definitely referential of 90s era Shoegaze, the track also hints at turn-of-the-century Emo styling. You can stream the track below and take note: the Emo revival is coming. I’m not the first to say it and I won’t be the last to warn you.
