Assembly Radio and Sailor Jerry have been running an excellent video series for the past few months with local bands performing short live sets. The sound quality is excellent and the experience has a dynamic quality that manages to bring across the live experience authentically.

Sakawa Boys, who have been blowing us away with their increasingly-brilliant live shows recently, are the latest band to be featured. They look and sound confident and assured, and the videos provide a chance to get even more familiar with two of their cuts. So far the band has only released a (pretty amazing-sounding) ‘demo’ recording of ‘Lazy Eys’, and the three-song set they performed has two songs, ‘Sakawa’ and ‘Don’t Be A Stranger’ as well as a cover of Santigold’s ‘The Keepers’.
